„When humans are not in control” – Roundtable discussion at the Watcher’s Innovation Conference

On March 21, 2024, the Watcher’s Season-Opening Innovation Conference was held at the Kempinski Hotel. Péter Balogh, Head of the VIKI Resilience Centre and cybersecurity expert represented our organisation at the roundtable discussion titled “When Humans are not in control”.

The event was organised by Figyelő (Watcher) in collaboration with Világgazdaság and the Hungarian Innovation Association. The aim of the presentations and roundtable discussions was to talk about the opportunities of Hungary’s innovation development and the potential utilization of artifical intelligence and virtual reality for the defence industry.

Over the past 240 years, humanity has gone through six major innovation cycles and Hungary aims to be among the top 10 innovators in Europe and the top 25 innovators globally by 2030.
