Autonomy is no longer just about individual drones or robots.

The next step is enabling uncrewed systems to work together across domains — sharing information, adapting to disruption, and continuing the mission even when GPS, communications or infrastructure are degraded.

Through NATO DIANA’s Multidomain Autonomy of Uncrewed Systems challenge, DIANA is looking for dual-use technologies that can make autonomous platforms more resilient, coordinated and effective in complex environments.

This could include solutions in AI, robotics, navigation, sensing, onboard processing, maintenance or system coordination — with applications ranging from emergency response and infrastructure inspection to military operations.
