We’re excited to share that Dr. Gergely Kovács, Head of the XR Centre of Excellence at VIKI, represented our institute at AWE USA 2026 — one of the world’s leading global stages for XR and spatial computing.
This year’s conference explored some of the most important directions shaping the future of immersive technology, including XR and spatial computing, physical AI, digital twins, immersive video, and digital art.
He shared our work on XR digital twins for selection, training, and performance monitoring in military applications and environments, contributing to the wider global discussion on how immersive technologies can transform complex training and decision-support systems.
We’re proud to see VIKI’s XR research presented to such an inspiring international community.
