On 11 July, a cooperation agreement was established between VIKI and the Hungarian Water Partnership (HWP).
The document was signed by László Deme, the appointed CEO of VIKI, and Zoltán Horváth, Managing Director of HWP’s management company.
The partnership between the two organizations aims to ensure the security of water supply in areas and regions affected by water crises and to develop dual-use water industry and water security solutions based on jointly defined technological needs.
HWP is a network of Hungarian-owned companies operating in various sectors of the water industry, offering complex solutions to water-related problems. Their main areas of expertise are wastewater treatment and drinking water purification, but they also cover almost the entire water industry, including leachate purification, rainwater management, and water recycling.
Water is fundamental for our existence, and for the military, it is crucial to establish water supply resilience and to simplify and modernize related logistic activities.
This partnership marks a significant step towards developing innovative solutions in the water industry and water security, benefiting both the civil and military sectors. We appreciate the collaboration with HWP and look forward to our joint efforts!
