Panel Discussion at Tusványos!

This year marked the 33rd edition of the Summer University “Bálványos” in Băile Tușnad and we are honored to attend this significant festival once again.

On July 25, as part of the Free University Programme series, Balázs Hendrich, our Deputy CEO joined an exceptionally interesting roundtable discussion that explored the role of defence innovation and industry in the light of global challenges. Participants in the discussion included Péter Sztáray, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade; Logan West, guest researcher at Danube Institute; and Dr. Imre Porkoláb, defence innovation expert. The dialogue was moderated by Ambassador Viktória Horváth, Chief of Staff at HungaroControl – Hungarian Air Navigation Services.

The festival, which has a history spanning three decades, was established to promote cross-border cooperation and initiate dialogue between nations. Today, the event is held in partnership with 50 organizations and 30 presentation tents, attracting thousands of visitors daily.

With the same enthusiasm as this year, we look forward to next year’s festival to continue the discussions on finding solutions to the challenges of defence innovation.
