On April 12th, VIKI’s short pilot project called Design4Defence, organised in cooperation with Brain Bar for student ambassadors has concluded. Over the six-week programme, participants worked on solutions to challanges defined by VIKI.
During the course, the participating teams worked on three different problem areas using the DesignThinking methodology: sensors that can be integrated on soldiers and equpments, the development of special food packages for soldiers, and the sensitisation of today’s youth towards defence through modern educational opportunities. The groups recived professional materials and mentoring, and at the end of the programme, during the Demo Day event, they presented their ideas. These presentations were followed not only by those present at the venue but also by online participants.
