In November, 2024, VIKI’s CEO, Dr. Gergely Németh had the privilege of hosting a Swedish delegation, including representatives from the FOI, the Swedish Ministry of Defence, the FMV – Försvarets materielverk, and the Swedish Defence Attaché accredited to Hungary.
On December 9-10, 2024, we hosted our first ‘Technology and Defence – The Future of Warfare’ conference at the Museum of Ethnography in Budapest, bringing together leaders, innovators, and experts to explore the transformative role of technology in defence.

On November 27, VIKI hosted its first Hackathon, bringing together talented minds from academia, industry, and startups to tackle some of the most pressing challenges in military technology.
On November 12, 2024, the Hungarian Presidency hosted the EUMC Mini Away Day at the Liszt Institute – Hungarian Cultural Center Brussels in Brussels, focusing on “Defence Industry and Innovation.”
