The VIKI Professional Visit Series Concludes with the Hungarian Defence Forces

Over the past few weeks, our team of experts participated in a comprehensive professional program to explore the latest developments and capabilities of the Hungarian Defence Forces. The final stops of this visit series took place in Hódmezővásárhely and Szolnok, where modern military technologies and training systems were showcased.

On November 26, we visited the Kinizsi Pál 30th Armored Infantry Brigade, gaining insights into the unit’s operations and the advanced military solutions introduced under the Zrínyi Defence Development Program. Highlights included the Lynx KF-41 infantry fighting vehicle and the Buffalo ARV recovery vehicle. Additionally, we explored simulation systems designed to support the advancement of soldiers’ training and skills development.

On December 5, the tour continued in Szolnok, where the Kiss József 86th Helicopter Brigade and the MH vitéz Bertalan Árpád 1st Special Operations Brigade presented their capabilities. Static and dynamic demonstrations, such as helicopter operations, urban combat scenarios, and live-fire exercises, provided a closer look at advanced military technologies. The Mi-17 simulation center was also introduced, showcasing cutting-edge training methods.

These visits significantly enhanced VIKI’s understanding of the modernization strategies 📈 and technological advancements of the Hungarian Defence Forces. The insights gained will enable us to align our research and innovation efforts more effectively with the military’s needs, supporting the long-term development of the force’s capabilities.
