On May 29th, Deme László, Hungarian Deputy State Secretary, designated CEO of VIKI and Hendrich Balázs, deputy CEO of VIKI visited the Embassy of Hungary to Canada to meet with the Canadian Assistant Deputy Ministers of the Department of National Defence to discuss the topics of the defence industry and innovation.
The delegation also visited CANSEC, the Canadian Global Defence and Security expo in Ottawa. The two day event was hosted by the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries and aimed to provide a platform for defence and security suppliers, contractors, as well as other industry stakeholders to network and showcase cutting-edge technologies, products and services. Here we had the opportunity to have discussions with Canadian key defence companies such as Rheinmetall Canada inc., CAE and Bombardier.
