VIKI had the opportunity to visit the NATO HQ and the Embassy of Hungary in Brussels.
On 21 May, a reception and exhibition was held in honor of the Day of Hungarian Defence, organised by the Foreign Economic Office and the Military Attaché’s Office of the Embassy. During the celebration VIKI was represented by Gergely Kovács, XR researcher who presented the Institute’s portfolio and his work in the field of virtual and extended reality.
On 22 May, Balázs Hendrich, deputy CEO of VIKI visited the NATO HQ, where he participated in a panel discussion circling around the topics of Hungary’s defence industry with Emese Balogh from Rotors & Cams Ltd., István Sárhegyi representing Remred, Gábor Gion from 4iG Nyrt. and Norbert Troszt from 4iG S&T Zrt. The conversation was moderated by Kristóf Réti from EuroAtlantic Consulting and Investment.
The event was hosted by H.E. Istvan Balogh, Hungary’s NATO Ambassador with the goal of introducing the Hungarian industry to the NATO institutions and members of the Alliance.
