On April 9, the Defence Innovation Research Institute of Hungary (VIKI), the Ministry of Defence, and the Hungarian Development Promotion Office (MFOI Advisory) co-hosted a professional event in Budapest to support Hungarian stakeholders in navigating EU funding and NATO programs in the field of defence.
The event offered practical guidance on accessing international funding sources and focused in particular on the European Defence Fund (EDF) — its structure, current opportunities, and key considerations for participation.
With the involvement of experienced experts, the program aimed to map out the landscape of international funding and highlight concrete paths for cooperation and engagement.
The event was especially recommended for those interested in entering the efence sector or exploring international funding and collaboration opportunities in defence innovation.
