Knowledge Exchange with the HQ MND-C Delegation

On 23 September 2025, the Hungarian Defence Innovation Research Institute (VIKI) had the honour of hosting Major General Tibor Králik, Commander of the Headquarters Multinational Division Centre (HQ MND-C), and his Command Group.

HQ MND-C is a NATO divisional level entity, with 10 participating nations, which has reached full operational capability in 2024. The division emphasizes innovation as a core principle and it has recently signed Memorandum of Understanding with VIKI.

The purpose of the visit was to follow-up on the already achieved results and explore further ways of cooperation, while also sharing lessons and best practices. Parties agreed that VIKI’s ongoing defence innovation initiatives which are designed in line with the operational requirements of the Hungarian Defence Forces could potentially support the mission of the HQ MND-C and therefore NATO’s efforts in the region.

We value this opportunity to strengthen professional dialogue and look forward to further collaboration in advancing defence innovation.
