Robotics for the future!

We are excited to share that our recent workshop on Reinforcement Learning in Robotics, organized in collaboration with the Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Informatics ELTE IK, was a resounding success! Over two intensive days, participants immersed themselves in the fascinating world of AI-Based Control of Quadruped Robots.

The course provided a perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. Participants not only gained valuable insight but also applied it by working in small teams to develop controllers for quadruped robots, tackling real-world scenarios with creativity and skill.

We were particularly impressed with the ingenuity and creativity displayed by all teams. The top performers will have the opportunity to test their controllers on a real Unitree Go2 Edu robot at our final event this fall.

A huge thank you to our expert instructors, Benedek Forrai, VIKI’s robotics consultant, and Dániel Tihanyi, a specialist in control theory and autonomous robotics, for leading such an inspiring workshop.

We can’t wait to see how our participants will continue to grow and innovate in the fields of robotics and AI.
