For the 22nd time, the ECON Conference was held at the Holiday Inn in Budaörs, Hungary. This year’s conference, named the ‘Engineering Simulation Forum,’ covered topics such as defense innovation, space research, artificial intelligence, and engineering simulation.
VIKI was represented by Balazs Hendrich, Deputy CEO, and Robin Ladila, Head of Engineering and Project Manager. They presented VIKI’s service portfolio, vision, and objectives. Balazs Hendrich emphasized that the goal is to increase the resilience of society, not just to develop the defense industry and innovation. He highlighted the need for the broadest participation of domestic enterprises and an opening to capital markets for the development of dual-use technologies. Robin Ladila discussed the importance of digital design in the defense industry, highlighting the role of the VIKI engineering office, the impact of the capabilities developed so far, and the trends and challenges present in this area. He also showcased the progress made by VIKI, its prototypes, and the ongoing development programs.
