EuroAtlantic hosted the Hungarian Defense Industry Summit at Bálna Budapest.
The conference served as a platform for both Hungarian and international actors of the defense industry, attended by over 250 participants, including ambassadors, foreign representatives, military and diplomat stakeholders, as well as corporate leaders. The event aimed to foster collaboration and innovation in Hungary’s defense sector.
VIKI was represented by Balázs Hendrich, deputy CEO of VIKI, who moderated a round table discussion circling around the topic of international partnerships and financing opportunities available to actors of the Hungarian defense innovation market. During the conversation, insights and ideas were shared by dr. István Balogh, ambassador of Hungary to NATO, Dénes Szluha, investment director of Focus Ventures Zrt., Balázs Csuday, deputy CEO of Hexagon Zrt and Supervisory board member of MFS Defense Zrt, and Vidor Kis-Márton, CEO of Continest Technologies Zrt.
Other discussions and presentations were also held focusing on the importance of the future of the space industry, international relations for actors in the sector or military industry trends and warfare changes.
