On April 10, 2024, VIKI’s first Logistics Day, titled “Soldier Field Accommodations”, took place in Székesfehérvár at the Alba Regia barracks. The event was organised based on the needs of the Hungarian Defence Forces and aimed to provide an opportunity for capable partners to introduce themselves to the 150-strong professional staff and decision-makers of the military.
During his opening speech, Colonel László Deme, designated CEO of VIKI, said – “We invited small and medium-sized enterprises because they play a crucial role in economic and industrial research and development. On one hand, I find today to be very effective, and on the other hand, I am particularly pleased that many of my officer colleagues from various units were able to attend the event. It is reassuring to witness the beginning of interaction: companies and soldiers have started a dialogue with each other. This kind of contact and information flow is essential for the development of the national innovation ecosystem.”
15 Hungarian companies who partnered with VIKI showcased their products at the expo. These included Clasman Group, Continest, Genesys Motors, Energotest Ltd., Securus, LogSol, LoxoLock, Hungarian Development Institute Nonprofit Ltd., Puraset Ltd., Freska, MouldTech Systems Ltd., Gerinfo, GD Machine and Crane Ltd., Technofalt, and Sigst. These companies presented products that are innovatively related to the establishment and operation of military camps and the efficiency of various operational tasks.
